Our L'Oiseau Bateau hanging pieces are some of the most beloved items in the shop. Since 1994, husband and wife Philippe and Catherine have been creating the wonderful world of L’Oiseau Bateau in Provence, France. They envision a dream world for children that encompasses figures and objects full of imagination, poetry, and humour.
The hanging decor comes in several designs (which is to say, stories!). The Bateau Moon depicts a boy sitting on the moon and casting his fish line for dreams. The vessels are hand-crafted and beautifully designed to capture the dreams, fantasies, and magic of childhood.
